How do I update my bank details?

Overview

If your company is changing the bank account where you receive payments from us, send us a bank change request with supporting documents. Because this affects where your payments go, our Treasury team checks every request before updating our records.

How to request a bank change

Step 1: Prepare your documents

You need both of the following:

  1. A letter on your company letterhead asking us to update your bank details. Include:
    • Account holder name
    • Bank name and address
    • Account number
    • Routing (ABA) number, or SWIFT/BIC and IBAN for banks outside the US
  2. Proof of the new account, such as:
    • A voided check, or
    • A letter from your bank confirming the account details (for example, an account verification letter)

Step 2: Submit the request

  1. Log in to the Central Vendor Management Support Portal and open a new request.
  2. Use a subject such as "Bank details change - [Your company name]".
  3. Attach your documents and include your Vendor ID or a recent invoice number so we can find your record. You don't need a PO number.
  4. If you have invoices due soon, list them so we can check how they will be paid.

Please open a separate request for your bank change, even if you already have another request open with us. That way the change won't wait on unrelated questions.

Step 3: Verification and confirmation

  • We review your documents and ask for anything that's missing.
  • Our Treasury team checks the new details and updates our records. There is no fixed timeline for this.
  • We confirm in your request once the update is complete.

Until we confirm the change, payments may still go to your current account. Please keep that account open until you hear from us.

Summary

To update your bank details, open a request in the Central Vendor Management Support Portal. Attach a letter on your company letterhead stating the new details, plus proof from your bank (a voided check or a bank letter). Include your Vendor ID or a recent invoice number; you don't need a PO number. Our Treasury team checks the details before updating our records, and we confirm in your request when the change is complete.

FAQ

1. Do I need a PO number to update my bank details?
No. A PO number helps, but your Vendor ID or a recent invoice number is enough for us to find your record.

2. Can I just put my new bank details on my next invoice?
No. Bank details on an invoice don't update our records. Submit a bank change request as described above.

3. My company name is also changing. What should I do?
Follow How to Submit a Vendor Name Change Request and include your bank documents in the same request.

4. How will I know the change is complete?
We'll confirm in your request. Until then, payments may still go to your current account.

5. A payment went to my old account. What should I do?
Reply to your request, or open a new one, with the invoice number and payment date. We'll check the payment with our Treasury team.

6. I haven't heard back. What should I do?
If you haven't had an update within a week, reply to your request to follow up.
